Yeah that would be great if you have the skills to take over.  You'll need
to know QML and lots of quite specialist knowledge about the internals of
how Plasma works.  There should be people happy to help and I see some good
discussion on the merge request you made but it is quite specialist so you
won't always get a quick answer.  If you want to fork Latte in KDE invent
and work on it that would be perfectly acceptable for now, or apply for a
KDE dev account but we'll need to see a few more contributions for that I
think.  Do try to get onto Matrix, use webchat.kde.org or neochat and say
hi in the Plasma room.
