you can also do a redirect so that the errors are save to a file.
 ex .
 plucker-build {options and other stuff } Errors.log

I already thought about that but it doen't seem to work under Windows
systems - at least there is nothing in the doc about that...

You say that you always get the same errors, so then you should be
able to (manually) include the errors in the message. You can't
expect us to download and investigate every site users report to
 have some problems with ;-)

You should always include as much info as possible.

You're absolutely right, I'm aware of that, but I didn't know how to get a
log file, so I'll send the log generated by the latest beta of the desktop
(TX to Robert ;-)) to this list in the next few days.

You may want to use:

plucker-build /path/to/some/logfile.log

Conversion problem with latest pyplucker

2002-05-03 Thread AML

Hello,

When trying to convert the whole « How 2 meet women » (plz no comment about
this title) from
http://personnal.riverusers.com/~thegrendel/contents.html
or by trying to convert the site locally after downloading it at
http://personnal.riverusers.com/~thegrendel/hmw50.zip (355 Ko) and
uncompressing it, I always get the same errors.

Please note that I use the pyplucker scripts I found in the latest cvs
snapshot. I didn’t have any problems with it so far.

Sorry if I can’t send any error report but I didn’t find a way to create a
log file of the conversion under Windows or to copy and paste the text in
the DOS-like box.

Anybody can help me please?
Thanks in advance,

AML

Hi AML,

You may wish to try setting the verbosity to show errors only, though that
still may scroll it
off.

On the optional ToDo for the the Desktop though is to have an option to
copy/save the progress
log file for such tasks. The Help button on the progress dialog might be
replaced with a
Export details... button to save the current contents of the progress
logbox to a text file,
as well as a context senitive menu for Select all and Copy of the log
box lines to the
clipboard. Unlike a DOS-box, the progress dialog logging can be scrolled
back all the way to
the start.

I think I will do that up today, and you can have a go tomorrow.

Best wishes,
Robert
