[SlimDevices: Plugins] Trackstat and Dynamic Playlist crashes with 7.0
I somewhat unwittingly upgraded to 7.0a (it came down the pipe in my debian stable main update). I then noticed that clicking on the trackstat link on the main webUI crashes the server, as does clicking on one of the DynamicPlaylist entries (clicking play is ok, it's just clicking on the entry itself). Nothing useful seems to show up in the logs, even with --d_plugins set. -- smc2911 smc2911's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4388 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27773 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Latest update: I powered down the Squeezebox and then couldn't get access to the Slimserver at all (SB couldn't connect nor could I access the webUI). The logs suggested a problem wth the SuperDateTime plugin. I deleted it from the Plugins directory and restarted slimserver. Not only did that allow me to access the Slimserver again, but the problems I noted above are no longer occurring. Perhaps there was some kind of strange interaction between SuperDateTime and the other Plugins. -- smc2911 smc2911's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4388 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27773 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: SlimScrobbler plugin not recognized by SS 6.5.0
At first my linux-based slimserver wouldn't recognize SlimScrobbler 0.36. After searching some threads it appeared that it might be a problem with the end-of-lines (EOLs). Turns out that the plugin files used DOS/Win EOLs (cr/lf) instead of Unix (lf). James says he thinks he has fixed it now, but wasn't sure. I changed the EOLs to Unix style and all was fixed. Open one of the .pm files in a good text editor to see what kind of EOLs it has. If they're DOS/Win, try downloading the plugin again, or fix the line endings yourself if you know how. I don't know the available Mac tools well, but it should be easy. -- aubuti aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27750 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I have tried changing permissions of mplayer.sh and owner to and from root and slimserver. mplayer itself can stream audio from a real source just fine.
