Just upgraded to 7.4 and the plugin works fine ... except pressing play to invoke the screen saver no longer works. I'm also having similar problems with key mappings for last.fm so I suspect this is a generic 7.4 issue. Hi, thanks for doing work on such a useful plugin. However, I have some troublesI could not get it to work, so I was following the troubleshooting guide abd trying the following: wavin2cmd.exe -w -o wavin:0 audiocapture.wav Which seemed to work well. The wav file was increasing with every second. When I stopped wavin2cmd with Ctrl+C I had a file of some megabytes. However, when I want to playback the file it is only 1.43 seconds long, no matter how long I record and it sounds somewhat distorted. Tried this on a winxp machine and on a vista machine with the same results. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any hints! You are going to get help from a QNAP user on installation because I don nto know what is happenig on your system. here, there 's a folder called plugin, created by squeeze server when i installed it. When I click in the web interface on the album link, nothing happens. When I press RIGHT on the remote on the album level, the squeezebox is showing the next level, which should be a list of my classical albums. However not only my classical albums are shown, but the list comprises in the first line one classical album name, in the next line one non-classical album name, the next line is empty, the next line is the next classical album name, the next line is a non-classical album name, the next line is again empty, and so on. I enclose a copy of my corresponding klassik-alben.cb.values.xml file. It seems that each time when I select the album link an error message is generated in server.log. Erland-- I'm having a problem with Custom Scan and Squeezebox Server 7.4. When I scan for new items only, the automatic Custom Scan hangs up and doesn't pick up the required information on the new songs. The regular scan itself picks up the new songs, but I don't get the additional Custom Scan tags and Custom Scan continues to indicate that it is running until I abort it. I've been running slimnas on a prior freenas release (embedded) for a while but recently upgraded to latest version of freenas. I'm now running freenas 0.7RC1 and have installed slimnas 1.9.99. Whenever, I try to install the squeezebox tar file it reports (after some time) that the file is corrupted. The same problem is happening when using slimnas 1.5.1. I don't know if it's my install but would like to know if others are having this problem. I have re-downloaded the tar file multiples and problem persists. try to install the squeezebox tar file it reports (after some time) that the file is corrupted. Unfortunately that's a known issue which we'll need to fix on the server end. If you're familiar with the command line, try downloading it using wget or fetch. Still not seeing a MusicInfoScreen display when streaming with BBC iPlayer. Hmm will have to investigate. I thought we had fixed this one on the SBS side. ok first i just over-wrote the old itunesupdate with the new one and re-started by reboot. When this didnt work I deleted the whole directory and rebooted then installed a fresh copy of 2.7.1 and rebooted again. No luck. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Album Review Biography not accessible after updating to new versions on 10/10
Anyone else having trouble with Album Review 2.8.2 and Biography 2.8.3 after updating? After restarting, I no longer have the context menus anywhere (SBC, iPeng, or SB3) or the usual links on the default web UI. On the new plugins page it says they are installed, but it appears like that they are not. Under Settings Advanced, there is not even a settings page in the web UI. It is like the plugins are not really there even though the extension downloader (new plugins page) says they are installed. I tried removing them and re-installing both pulgins with the same result. If possible, it would be nice if the user could specify a custom filename to save the artwork as. I keep my albums in seperate folders and use folder.jpg for the artwork, but my singles are mostly all together in a folder called 'misc' and for each track I use %ARTIST - ALBUM for the title format. Install process is a little complicated on the Mac - but with 7.4 there seems to be a disconnect between the player and the server. If you do an artist search such as Miles Davis, IPeng lists all the albums I have by this artist in alphabetic order. Is it possible to list these albums is year order? This can be done in SC web interface by selecting Album Year option. Sort Albums By Name seems to do the same thing when set to off or on. If turned on lists all albums under letter A then lists all albums under B etc. When you turn it off it lists albums in straight alphabetic order. Sorry to ask this question but.. How do I find this ticket to amend? Never done this before. I have checked and if you select Artist tab in IPeng then select An artist from the list, doing this way it does list albums in year order. So I can confirm the problem I have is ONLY when using Search then keying in Artist name. Then it does not list in Year order. Thanks Pippin. I really love IPeng. I use it all the time now. I am currently using ipeng 1.1.2 and squeezecenter 7.3.4 that runs stable and I do not want to move to 7.4 until logitech gets more issues fixed.
