But what does the freestyle option do? The spicefly site wan't very clear about it. It seems more random. Does it mix with musicip, and it ignores the mix style and variety? Or something else? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
However, I have a problem with song titles that involve a slash ("/") which is of course not permitted in Unix/Linux file names. When a slash character is present in the song titles, it means that MAI will search for lyrics for quite a long time, and for some strange reason, it tends to make my system less responsive afterwards. Could you please enable info logging for plugin.musicartistinfo (Settings/Advanced/Logging), try to bring up infos for such a song, then provide your full server.log.zip: https://www.dropbox.com/request/T3RctyzGgNg0oFDubq6a Is that an option that can be considered for implementation in a future version of MAI? I'd consider it a bug if it eg. started searching from the root of your file system because of that slash... -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The problem is the transition. Not sure how much is switching the server or dropping the wifi connection and picking up cellular. This a real issue when leaving home in the car. As I leave, the music starts fine and I'm connected to my wifi. As I drive away, the music stops. It seems the only way I can get it to start again is to kill the app, restart it and reconnect to the external server and press play. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Hi, I am a happy and grateful user of the LMS MAI plugin. Thank you for developing and maintaining it. I now have LMS running on a Raspberry Pi 4B with piCorePlayer - moved from a model 3B last week, and the speed difference is really impressive. However, I have a problem with song titles that involve a slash ("/") which is of course not permitted in Unix/Linux file names. When a slash character is present in the song titles, it means that MAI will search for lyrics for quite a long time, and for some strange reason, it tends to make my system less responsive afterwards. One solution is to replace the slash character in song titles by e.g. a dash, but that is awkward in some situations, where the slash comes more natural af part of the name. At least in my language. So, from my perspective it could be great, if MAI could replace a slash character in songtitles with e.g. a dash "-" when looking up song lyrics, be it via the web or locally stored text files. And of course use the dash character in the file names stored locally. Is that an option that can be considered for implementation in a future version of MAI? No, why would you need that? It should switch back automatically when you are not home. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Sorry for another question. As I said earlier, I've manually added the external IP address of my server to ipeng. The problem is that iPeng keeps detecting the the server locally and switching to it when I'm home. Is there any way to get it to stay with the external version?
