Thank you for considering it.

If you could leave your changes in the branch for a little while I could
check if it works with my plugin.

And if you do decide against it eventually maybe you could give me some
time to fork your repo branch while the new rating code is still in it.
I'm new to github and still have to figure out if I can fork a repo,
apply changes (different from the master branch) and still get all the
future updates you'll release in the master branch. :)

Anyway, thank you very much for your dedicated work. I really appreciate
it.

Thanks. But clicking the Location link makes a read-only copy of the
file to a temp directory and then sends it to your media player (in my
case Foobar). What I want to do pick up the path and send it to Foobar
or a tagging program so I can edit the tags in the actual file. So I'd
need at least to be able to copy the path with a right click. But you
can't do that. You can select the path and copy it manually, but that's
not workable.

I've asked the question on the LMS forum and 'got an answer from

I'd misunderstood your plugin :)

I thought it used the user data and not the whole of lastfm.

As to API calls beyond scrobbling I am not sure, but think not likely.

It wouldn't be easy to implement those features, as they require a lot
of data. How would you figure out the most important tracks of an
artist? You need to know what people listen to. Only using your own
dataset might be very limiting, and you'd end up listening to always the
same tracks, as you'd make your favorite tracks even more popular by
playing them as the most popular tracks etc.

Thanks for the replies.
I just had a look and I have BBC I-Player V1.3.1alpha3 from Triode.
This seems to be the most recent update that Picore Player / LMS can get
by itself.

The Live Stream and On Demand Stream are both set as
HLS>MP3>FlashAAC>FlashMP3
The option suggested above does not appear in this version of the plug
in.

Now more learning as I try to work out how to get V1.6 from the Github

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Maloja Scobbler support with modified audioscrobbler plugin

2020-10-30 Thread local.bin

Hi all

It's been a while since I used lastfm and have of late been using maloja
for my scrobbling needs :)

With some recent support from the maloja dev and some testing on my part
it seems we can now scrobble to maloja using our squeezeboxes :)

Editing the Plugin.pm to include your maloja instance in the following
format -> https://maloja_instance/apis/audioscrobbler_legacy/' as well
as converting your maloja scrobble password to md5 hex and saving in
audioscrobbler.prefs allows you to scrobble to your instance.

Its not so user friendly more a proof of concept though if anyone is
interested :)

All the best.

Which skin are you using?

The default skin, just click on the song title in the right-hand pane,
either the track that's playing, or in the queue (they are links).

32000

Material skin, click the 3 dots in the queue, then "More".

As bpa states, this does appear to be a BBC Iplayer plugin issue.
Please can you confirm which version of the BBC Iplayer plugin you have
installed, it should be version 1.6.10.

No, there is no setting, and I'm not going to add one. What's wrong with
the limit? How do you seriously navigate a list of even 25k items let
alone more? Especially on a miobile device the list is just too large to
be useable. Even wit the jump list that would still leave a thousand or
more items per entry.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Tidal App not appearing in My Apps, and won't play queued songs.

2020-10-30 Thread Michael Herger

   PING mysqueezebox.com (3.232.61.123) 56(84) bytes of data.
   PING mysqueezebox.com (18.208.147.17) 56(84) bytes of data.

Hmm... they're both in the US. What if you ping from your desktop where
you'd configure mysb.com? NZ by default should point to EU.

From your data I'd assume that LMS would hit the US (confirmed by the
above), while your direct interaction would hit EU.
