Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Thank you for considering it. If you could leave your changes in the branch for a little while I could check if it works with my plugin. And if you do decide against it eventually maybe you could give me some time to fork your repo branch while the new rating code is still in it. I'm new to github and still have to figure out if I can fork a repo, apply changes (different from the master branch) and still get all the future updates you'll release in the master branch. :) Anyway, thank you very much for your dedicated work. I really appreciate it. afriend's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39306 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

But clicking the Location link makes a read-only copy of the file to a temp directory and then sends it to your media player (in my case Foobar). What I want to do pick up the path and send it to Foobar or a tagging program so I can edit the tags in the actual file. So I'd need at least to be able to copy the path with a right click. But you can't do that. You can select the path and copy it manually, but that's not workable. I've asked the question on the LMS forum and 'got an answer from mherger' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?113145-How-to-return-path-of-playing-item=992903#post992903) himself. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] LastMix - Another mixer to feedDon't Stop The Music
I don't know perl but I looked at your plugin code and couldn't see it using the lastfm user that is registered to scrobble, but I wasn't sure. That's correct. There's no need for your username, as these calls aren't based on your "collection", but the overall data they have. As to API calls beyond scrobbling I am not sure, but think not likely. The dev has been very receptive to my requests for changes though. It wouldn't be easy to implement those features, as they require a lot of data. How would you figure out the most important tracks of an artist? You need to know what people listen to. Only using your own dataset might be very limiting, and you'd end up listening to always the same tracks, as you'd make your favorite tracks even more popular by playing them as the most popular tracks etc. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Maloja Scobbler support with modified audioscrobbler plugin
Hi all It's been a while since I used lastfm and have of late been using maloja for my scrobbling needs :) With some recent support from the maloja dev and some testing on my part it seems we can now scrobble to maloja using our squeezeboxes :) Editing the Plugin.pm to include your maloja instance in the following format -> https://maloja_instance/apis/audioscrobbler_legacy/' as well as converting your maloja scrobble password to md5 hex and saving in audioscrobbler.prefs allows you to scrobble to your instance.
