OK, I've to start the recruiting campaign, then. :)

I'll start with the website ML and other local Italian lists and forums so
that I can see what kind of feedback I'll receive about the technical
implementation of the tool. Maybe, people with more knowledge of the
modern collaboration tools may suggest a easier and more efficient tool
than a wiki or hive other good suggestions and help.

Just a word on this, be careful that people will always come with his
best tool and will try to promote it, so you may end up with 10 people =
10 tools ;)

Thanks for your help, Sophie.

you're welcome

Kind regards

thanks a lot!

But could send to press, no problem with that.

Is there currently someone in charge of managing the Spanish press?
Jesús, are you involved there?

At the last marketing team confcall I offered to help coordinate
completing the release notes of the upcoming 3.4 version and then
distilling the information into a version more suitable for our website
accompanied with photos of some or many of these changes.

Could we, all, please take a close look at the information on the
Release Notes 3.4 wiki page[1] to make sure that the information is
complete and correct? This will help greatly in easing the task of
creating a more suitable page for the website. We just have to make sure
that all the details are there and that we have not missed anything
major in the list.

thanks a lot for taking care of this, much appreciated! Did you receive
any feedback so far?

Hi Florian

Michael Meeks and Kohei Yoshida did reply. You can read it on the
marketing thread[1].

As we are getting close to the release date, we should look to preparing
the website page on LibreOffice.org so that the different language
groups have enough time to translate. As you know, and, as Michael Meeks
pointed out, the screenshot topic was quite a controversial topic at the
time of the last version release. There is a thread on the marketing
list trying to establish the protocols for this upcoming version[2].

IMO, we will be better prepared for the next release if we can
streamline the process this time. We will need committed language reps
who will be prepared to localize/translate the international webpage
before the release date. I am not sure if we will be able to accomplish
for this release. We will be able to have the international webpage out
in time though.

As per our Marketing concall, on our Download website page[3], we
decided to have a link for v.3.4 and v.3.3.2. This would allow
members/visitors to toggle from one version to the next to compare both
versions.

We need to:

* on the Download website link rename the New features and fixes to
Version 3.3.2 features or some other descriptive title
* prepare the international webpage for the LibreOffice 3.4 version and
name this page similar to the previous version page

* take screenshots of v. 3.4 features and fixes
* once the international website page has been completed, have language
groups localise/translate the website page

Cheers

Marc
