[QGIS-Developer] Invisible, unloadable Postgresql FDW

2020-09-14 Thread Paolo Cavallini
Hi all,
I noticed that tables imported in PostgreSQL as foreign data wrapper are
not visible, neither from file browser nor from DB Manager. They can be
listed smoothly from psql with the usual `\detr` command.
Is this a known limit (possibly a bug)?
Cheers.

Just filed the bug:
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/38739

@Werner
No, I tried with a new clean profile without plugins.

@Harrissou
Quite likely! :+1:

Have you checked if it is probably a plugin causing this?

Mmm, I can confirm here on latest master of today...

I had never seen it before, but as soon as I checked 'Prompt for CRS' in
Settings/CRS/CRS for layers, it popped up for 'Annotations'...

[QGIS-Developer] CRS Selector: Specify CRS for layer Annotations ?

2020-09-14 Thread Raymond Nijssen
For a few weeks in QGIS master, when I start the application, when I
start a new empty project or (even) when I close the application, the
CRS Selector Dialog pops up with the question:

Specify CRS for layer Annotations

It only happens when my CRS settings are set to: "Prompt for CRS" for
new layers without CRS info.

So I guess something is creating a layer called "Annotations" in the
background. Tried to find it in the source code but I failed.

Anyone a clue?

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

Yes, you can just ask on this list:
- which plugin
- reason, why you want to transfer ownership (to you or from you)
- parties in it (from and to)
- are both ok with it?
- maybe some prove for that...

Then one of the maintainers of the plugins repo will be able to 'transfer'
maintainership OR ownership.

Richard Duivenvoorde

Hi there,

is there any information somewhere about how I can transfer the
ownership of a QGIS plugin from one OSGeo ID to another?

Thanks

It's a followup to f17097b1, which makes QGIS use the expected pathes to load
DLLs - so a Qt/OpenSSL etc. in system32 is no longer an issue. Unfortunately
there are also python extension that load DLLs from pathes that the add upfront
so d411d66b3d is need to cover for that.

I'm 90% sure it's come from https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/38420 --
but I don't have any understanding behind how that change works.
