Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS crashes when adding a plugin from QGIS Plugin Manager

2012-06-24 Thread Manuel Spínola
Update on the problem.

When I try to bring any of the 3 options on View/Decorations: Copyright
Label, North Arrow, Scale Bar, from the QGIS Plugin Manager, QGIS
crashes. For all the other plugins is working fine.

Best,

Manuel

This could be related to a SQLite framework problem. I have a new SQLite
framework on my site (or download and install new GDAL Complete).

The problem appears in local installation of 1.8 and master, but not
in a system install (from ubuntugis-unstable).

So advice to anyone installing qgis manually - cleanup you
install_prefix/lib directory of all old qgis libs

I noticed this when testing the packaging on OS X. So I added a note to the OS

need to hardwire cleanup of old files... and someone should do something
