[Ql-Users] QL Today Issue 2 Volume 15

2010-12-15 Thread SMSQ - Jochen Merz

... is on its way to all its readers.

The German issues were sent from Germany,
all the other ones from Austria - yesterday!

40 pages this time (25% more than promised).

Interesting to see how long it will take this time...
I printed LETTER - LETTRE - BRIEF bold and large above the address,
hope this helps on the delivering side.

Best regards Jochen

Done...it's available to download on

way down the page, the toolkits are in A-Z order anyway).

Thanks, Ralf.

I know my internet here has been dropping pages for no reason and
then loading them fine with a refresh. I've activated the account
from the forum so please try now :)

Thanks - I can login now.

Having playing around with setting up windows the old fashioned way (program

He he, nice one!

And the 3D borders available with WM_BORDER in the new window manager
don't get used that much after Marcel went to all the hard work to
implement them.

I remember having fun and games with unexpected results many years
ago on a Spectrum - drawing arcs, I think, which resulted in
Spirograph-style shapes if you used extreme values of the angle
(third) parameter of a Spectrum DRAW command. IIRC, it calculated
several dots on the 'arc' and tried to join them with straight lines.
But this got a bit out of hand if you used very large values for the
angle!

2010-12-15 Thread SMSQ - Jochen Merz

I hope you enjoy it and it takes more than one cup of tea ;-)

Just registered to your board - quick and easy...

The past few weeks were a total rush (partly, to get QL Today out
in time) ... but now I'll hope to be a bit more active again.

Cheers Jochen

[Ql-Users] C68 from 1994?

2010-12-15 Thread Peter Graf
Hi,

does someone still have C68 binaries and libs from around 1994?
A private email with ZIP-file(s) would be great.

Thanks,
Peter
