Re: [Ql-Users] C68 from 1994?
Hi again, does someone still have C68 binaries and libs from around 1994? A private email with ZIP-file(s) would be great. ... or better: Does someone still have the PDQ C compiler? Thanks, Peter ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
Re: [Ql-Users] C68 from 1994?
Hi Peter, did you try emailing Dave Walker directly and asking for the older binaries? He was extremely helpful when I had a question about a compiler option. Thanks, Peter Hi Peter, In the TOS4QL package on my emulators page there is a file called PDQC - I don't know how full a part of the distribution this is. It might be worth having a look. http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/emu/tosforql.zip There is also a copy of Digital C on my website. The author Gerry Jackson also kindly released the sources. I mention this in case you could perhaps look at modifying the sources to make it do what you want? Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
Re: [Ql-Users] Question from a re-newbie
Actually there is quite a bit that can be done to enhance ED. Al Boehm published in Quanta magazine April 2002 a DO file to move blocks of superbasic under ED. Simon Goodwin wrote an extension called, I think, LDEF to enhance ED by accessing procedures and functions by name, and finally he also wrote a clipboard program and extension that allowed copying and pasting into Superbasic ED and other tasks. Mark Knight tweaked this program and published an update. i expect the Dilwyn's repository will have all these programs. Lee Privett ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm I guess no one enhanced Ed any further, as people moved onto using tools such as Digital Precision's The Editor, or the even better QD editor from Jochen Merz if they wanted to be able to do this sort of thing. Yep, that's just about right. I find myself rarely using ed nowadays, even for plain SBASIC programming. QD2 with its feature to remove and add line numbers on the fly makes editing (and properly formatting) programs much easier. I use ED only for small corrections/amendments when actually compiling. Tobias Hi, There is an enhanced version of The Editor, after DP folded. Probably available on a Mr Jones's web site ... :-) ED has neither cut nor paste! As Wolfgang wrote - use F10 to grab a line. Hmm! I have *exactly* the same issue for all mailing lists under Gmail. All was OK when we used our own server. I have not found a solution. It has been suggested that the returned mail has the same message ID and Gmail filters it out. Any ideas would be welcome. I thought I might be able to set a Thunderbird filter, but it only works on *one* folder. A clue, which supports the message ID theory. If I send mail via a different smtp server, and not gmail, my sent mail *does* get echoed back to the mailing list. ... so try another smtp server. [Ql-Users] Early Accounts Software from 1985
I have come across microdrive cartridges by XPERT Software for their accounting package. Each microdrive cartridge is corrupt unfortunately, and I only have the Sales Ledger, Nominal Ledger and Stock Control modules - the Purchase Ledger module is completely missing. Interestingly, these each start through a program called TRANSACCT - similar in name to TRANSACT by Dialog Software. Does anyone have copies of any of these programs (including TRANSACT by Dialog)? The XPERT Software ones are easy to spot as they have flourescent green printing on the cartridges. -- Rich Mellor RWAP Services http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk http://www.rwapservices.co.uk -- Try out our new site: http://sellmyretro.com ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
