But as I said in a previous message, I didn't need to configurate Proforma: perhaps a standard ESC/P driver was installed by default. Although I bought QPCPrint many years ago, I never used it to print something. I reinstalled it and printed a few *_html files from within 'Prowess Reader' when I saw Peter's message. I didn't even know there were drivers which support 720dpi or 1440dpi. As you will have noticed, I am not a native speaker. [Ql-Users] QLis30 - first goal achieved!
I am pleased to report that we have achieved the first aim of QLis30 - attracting an international group of QL-ers. Of the 22 people who have booked dinner 11 come from the UK and 11 from overseas. On the Saturday we shall have QL-ers from Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Finland, Switzerland and, of course, the UK. I think we can boast of having the first truly international QL event to be held in the UK. It will be a unique opportunity for UK QL-ers to meet users from abroad. Again a reminder. We are asking people who are likely to attend, and have not already done so, to let us know so that we can estimate attendance. We have made a decision to expand into a second hall, the Lennon Room, where we shall probably hold the presentations.
