chances are you already have it. Fontutils is not a program but a package.

Extract of the manual:


This package consists of several utility programs which should help you
to maintain your collection of fonts. There is a program to create new
fonts, based on font in the Adobe Type I font format (pfb or pfa) or in
the GhostScript format (gsf). This will immediately add the kerning
information if it was available. There are also programs to print all
the letters in a font, or to get a short preview of a font on screen, so
that you can select a font more easily.

The progs of the package are:

pfb2pff: convert fonts to the PROforma fontformat.
FontPreview : quickly preview a font, to jog your mind when you have to
select one.
FontShow: display all the characters in one or more fonts. This can be
displayed on screen, or it can be printed.
