PS You will probably also need some kind of toolkit to reserve and release
a slot in the Button Frame. If you dont have one and dont feel like writing
your own, you may use mine. Its just over 300b of code.

Right.Sorry. Stupid of me.
But BP 1.43 won't start on SMSQmulator. After 'rebirth in progress...', 
the screen turns black and a few seconds later, a red cursor pops up. 
That's all it does here. I'll give it another try tonight.

Hi Giorgio,

I have installed BP 1.43 and noticed this:

1) select files

2) select folder DOCS

3) select the only file in it 'contact_txt'

4) execute it

5) view file

Instead of displaying the file, BP resets.

Can you confirm this?
