Re: [Ql-Users] Missing Sinclair QL Software Titles
Hi Rich list, Giga-BASIC I think I may have a copy of this lurking somewhere, it's not original (came to me with a QL I bought in about 1990), I will see if I can find it. No guarantees the mdv is still readable, of course... QL Artist - by Rodent Software Wasn't that one of the Progs? I'm pretty sure I had a copy of that too, but I had to type it myself? Probably my memory is failing me... or perhaps QL Artist was a compiled version? Anyway I'll see what I can dig up. Cheers, Ade. ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm

Sorry Rich, I've only heard of one on your list - though I used to have quite a library of QL s/w (or, so I thought!). I've looked under the setee. There's a note saying Time you vacuumed here :0) Happy hunting, John in Wales PS: AlasTony, I've now now given up your sheep dog commands But do come to Wales and hear the real thing ;-) ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
Re: [Ql-Users] Missing Sinclair QL Software Titles
Rich, Whilst I remember a couple of those titles, I've already sent what I had to you already. ( not that I'm hinting that you still have them, lol!) Would be nice to see Crazy Painter again, I loved the Microdeal games for QL and Dragon 32. Anyone else remember Space War? Good luck in your quest. Neil Rich Mellor r...@rwapservices.co.uk 15 March 2010 13:51 As some of you will no doubt know, I am trying to build up a repository of all Sinclair QL titles - to include details on the QL Wiki and to also be able to provide working copies of games to people who have the originals, but sadly can no longer get them to work (or need a version for an emulator) However, there is a mass of software titles which I don't have copies of and the list grows every time I pick up an old Sinclair QL World magazine. Re: [Ql-Users] Missing Sinclair QL Software Titles
Hi Neil, Yes I still have your software - I am left with the titles I am struggling to get off the microdrives! Not just copy protection - but other issues, such as they load a specific sector after loading and use that code, or the tape is unreadable! Re: [Ql-Users] Missing Sinclair QL Software Titles
Sounds like a tough job Rich, I guess finding some of the programs will be an almost impossible task. Even if they are still in the wild, they're likely to be hidden away in a loft somewhere, the cold won't do those microdrives and favours. I store my Microdrives in my lounge under the settee out of sight. At least it's reasonably warm there. I've got plenty of 'stuff' which no longer loads so I hope you are successful in your quest ( sounds a bit Hollywood but you get my drift ).
