Re: [Ql-Users] website form
I have noticed spam from my web forms quite recently. I think it is just that some web spiders have been getting cleverer of late and manage to fill in the forms successfully. Tony Freeola tech support have basically confirmed that someone is maliciously using their message form script. Until they have rewritten the script to their satisfaction, they suggets disabling it. Given that I'm literally getting hundreds of messages a day from it, it will be taken down immediately. -- Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm

The message form facility on my website has somehow been hijacked and is sending me (and presumably others) hundreds of junk messages a day. Please refrain from using it for a few days, as all messages from it are deleted automatically at the moment, and use my email addresses instead. Please be wary of any emails claiming to be from djwebsite AT uk6 DOT net or with the subject line of Website contact form Apologies for this. I am trying to get help from my ISP to remove whatever has happened. I've uploaded the html again, since the html on the server seemed to have been tampered with, but I am still getting hundreds of messages a day from it (696 this weekend alone so far) so clearly there is a virus or something somewhere at work. -- Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm

For some reason to do with anti-spam measures taken by my ISP, the message form facility on my website has stopped working. I'm trying to figure out what changes need to be made to make it compliant with their requirements and I'll post a message here to confirm when I've got it working. In the meantime, please don't try to use it to contact me. Many thanks, -- Dilwyn Jones ___ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
