4 bit intel processor?!

I thought it was 4 bit. You always have to communicate with it in nibbles.

I would argue it is a 2-bit processor that can't stand 1 bit of competition
;)

But I paid most of my studies with that half-bit processor :)

8 microbits = 4 bits.

As easy as that.

Tobias, are you suggesting that American-made bits are like American
measurements?

The US gallon and pint are much smaller than the gallon and pint recognized
by the rest of the world!

Dave,

well, the Intel bits were just about as american-made as the Motorola (RIP)
bits. Still they were quite a lot smaller ;)

But maybe we should solve that one - The poor guy 8749 _really_ was an 8-bit
processor. And not the worst that Intel ever built. The successors are still
around in the embedded industry.

If in doubt, pick 8 of those:
http://www.bitburger.de/produkte/bitburger-premium-pils/
(Really large, German-made bits)

(Beware: Processing 32 of those bits is probably dangerous for your health.
Also they come in packs of 24)
