[R] R squared value for a line on a plot
Does anyone know how to retrieve the R squared value for a line on a graph? Thanks Georgina __ R-help@r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help PLEASE do read the posting guide http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.

Thanks Georgina We need a LOT more information to answer your question ... please read the posting guide and tell us in a bit more detail what you're trying to do. It sounds like you have a graphical figure of a regression line in a paper and want to know the R^2, which is basically impossible unless you have the original data, or unless the plot shows the data points and you can retrieve by digitizing (look for the g3data software tool).
