[Repeater-Builder] Odd-ball Micor scematic needed
I am looking for the schematic and board/parts layout for a TLN5745 Multi-PL Decoder card used in a Micor station. This appears to be different than the the 4-user card found in community repeaters. For one thing, it does not require use of the external 'Master Decoder' card. I think it may be in the 68P81106E30 manual, for options C158, C261, C262, and C263. Anyone have it? Or have any ideas on how to get it? Thanks! Jim WD8CHL
[Repeater-Builder] Quantar Control Inputs/Outputs Battery Backup
Hi Folks, I've got the Quantar working great, but now I need to do some interfacing so my control receiver can shut it off, etc. I have some schematics of the station control module, but the manuals don't have any info on the back connectors, etc. Does anyone have a quick dirty guide to control signals for the unit and what connectors they come out on? I don't want to hook an external repeater controller to it, just a couple of lines - inhibit transmit, ptt, and perhaps transmit audio. Also, it has a PCB connection coming out of the power supply... I think this may be for battery backup. Does this also charge the battery, or just a place to connect the 2 batteries? Thanks, Tim W5FN
[Repeater-Builder] Zetron Model 66
I got one from the Pager equipment Junk. Any use for this in a amateur repeater site? Can we convert it into a Rpt controller for VHF? Peter
Re: [Repeater-Builder] Zetron Model 66
I have 2 of these in service and it is for the pager industry not a repeater controller. I know of no way to use one on a repeater unless you want it to also be a paging transmitter. It is tone controlled by the paging terminal and can output analog voice paging or digital pocsac or golay paging. It then sends a digital square wave.
