Ah, the famous courtesy wrap as it's known out here in the East!

Re: [Repeater-Builder] GR-500

It comes with the stock controller, tuned to our coordinated pair and
power supply. It will be on a city owned water tower by itself . So we
shouldn't have any interference problems. This is our first repeater so
we are learning as we go. this forum has been a big help.

What all do you get for the $1200? I have a GR300 (basically the
same repeater), turned the power down to 21 watts, on solar power
and only paid $250 for it (not a scratch on it). Brand new I was told
the GR300 sells for around $1200 to $1500. Just FYI. What
controller comes with it? They come new with an option of 6
different controllers.

[Repeater-Builder] GR-500

2006-02-18 Thread kf6mxk
Our club (San Bruno Civil defense Club) is thinking of purchasing a
Motorola GR-500 repeater. Is anyone using this repeater ? Would you
recommend getting this repeater we were quoted a price of $1200.
Thanks in advance,
Phil KF6MXK
