[Repeater-Builder] Arcom RC-210 interface/port plug type change?

2006-11-23 Thread skipp025
Hey Ken,

Per the ebay listing web picture...

The Arcom RC-210 repeater controller now sports (has) RJ-45 (the larger
telephone type used in computer networks) type jacks on the pc board
along with what appears to be the silk screen locations for the original
D-9 (aka db-9) jacks/plugs.

When you have time would you please comment on the change? ... reason
and thinking behind the option/change?

Can the db-9 jack/connector locations still be used?

thanks
skipp

---The RC210 has always given the owner a choice of connectors for
the Radio Ports - either DB9 or RJ45. There is space on the board for
either, although not a mixture of both.
