Hi,I tried the Tatung Port and managed to build the latest version from CVS. I created a fullzip and unpacked it in the root filesystem of the MP3 player. I then created a backup of the FW_YH820.mi4 and then copied the pp5020.mi4 from the root to the System folder and renamed it to FW_YH820.mi4When I start the Samsung MP3 player, it hangs at the startup screen, but it does create 2 files in the root of the harddriveframebuffer.bin 152KBgpio.txt 1KBThe gpio.txt contains a single lineFF 42 F7 E6 FF 0C 50 00 9B EF 5E 40Should I start a WIKI page to track the progress of the Tatung port on the Samsung player? Samsung YH-820 based on PP5020
I would like to use the RockBox firmware on my Samsung YH-820. It is based on the PortalPlayer chipset 5020 (same as iPod Mini). I do not mind porting or developing but I do not know how to get started. I have used the mi4code to decode the mi4 firmware upgrade, but do not know how to get RockBox ported to this player. My main need is for Ogg Vorbis support. Thanks in advance for any help to get me started Anant
