Does it hang when you're not using drbd ? If it only hangs
with drbd I suspect a kernel problem.

Does it hang when you're not using drbd ? If it only hangs
with drbd I suspect a kernel problem.

3.0.14 and 3.0.2x have big changes, you should read the NEWS/Changes
about versions and check how it could impact you and your server.

Maybe you can turn the SO_KEEPALIVE, *maybe*. :)

3.0.14 and 3.0.2x have big changes, you should read

the problem is, the version 3.0.10 is the default red hat enterprise 4 
packet.

redhat doesn't offer any updates.
today i want update to 3.0.14a with a rpm packet, but there were too 
many failed dependencies :-(


now i think, i build samba myself, but i don't  know which problems can 
happen if i do this.

[Samba] Excel Save Problem

Hello,
 
i use Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant) with Samba Version
3.0.10-1.4E.
Samba are running as PDC. 
If i save a 160 KB Excel file (Excel 2000 and XP) on a Windows 2000 Client,
then samba hangs. With a XP Client running all normally.
i make several tunning options (socket options, write raw,...) but no
change.
 
any idea?
