Re: [SaF] Domain registration Companies
Go to http://www.totalnic.com. Registration there is $35.00 for 2 years. Brenda Hi SAF folks, I know that Network Solutions -was- the only place to reg. a .com or .org in the US until recently. What I am looking for is the other folks that do it in the US and do it cheaper. The organisation that I am involved with has a site and wish to get a couple of other domains and wish to conserve our capital. --Brenda Scribblers An Internet Bookstore http://www.ebookshoppe.com ~ http://www.ebook-seller.com check out our sale

That is not a good idea to advertise for binary files on a mailing list to be sent to you by e-mail. What if 100 or 200 subscribers sent you files averaging 500K apiece all at once? [SaF] Alternative Herbal Products
Got one that sounds easy but isn't. I need objective information - i.e. that published in referred medical journals - which provide information on say the top 30 selling herbal products. Search engines are pretty well useless as one in bombarded with sales pitches, anecdotal testimonials etc etc. I considered a pubmed (National Library of Medicine) search, but that would require individually searching each herbal product. Even that would be overwhelming in that National Library of Medicine searching uses specific descriptors (Thesaurus) which if not recognized will fail to identify a product. Any help would be appreciated in either specific websites or a broad-based way of searching. Dave in Ohio

That would be the logical start: http://www.fda.gov/ I did a search on the keyword of "herbal" and produced what seemed to me to be several helpful research documents. ~~ How about the Herbs Research Organization site? Have you been there? http://www.herbs.org/ ~~ See what you can learn at this Herbal Research Information site: http://www.freeyellow.com/members/friedli/ ~~ Nutrition Business Journal might have some good papers: http://www.nutritionbusiness.com/index.html ~~ I am a little leery of this site, but visit it and see if you can get anything out of it. SK's Herbal Medical Hospital and Research Center http://www.herbalniamaths.com/sks.htm ~~ Another site that I would advise caveat: http://www.curanderos.net/ Alan [EMAIL PROTECTED]

For C.Rajagopalan: I have that clip... and yes, it is rather funny. If you still have not located it by the time you read this, send me a quick message (off list) and I will be glad to e-mail it to you. [SaF] Re : Usenet Groups via E-Mail
Dear Members: A few days go I had asked a query about accessing (receiving / replying) Usenet Groups via E-Mail (E-Mail only). I'd received a few suggestions in this list, which I'd promised to evaluate. Happy to inform that Sonador Usenet Agent works perfectly to my expectations. It allows interaction with five Usenet Groups, can be registered for, receive individual posts and reply to individual posts - all using just your simple e-mail. No need to go to the Web at all - and it's FREE. Thanks a lot for the info.
