Re: CSkidney stones

2010-03-19 Thread orv delany
Hi saw your post and had to send you some help. There are two kinds of
kidney stones but they can be dissolved in about 3 days using magnesium
chloride in the form magnesium oil,you take two tablespoons of full
strength magnesium oil rite out of the bottle and add that to1 qt. filtered
water and shake up every time you use it, then take 6 oz of that 3 times a
day.  that it.  Go to you-tube and pull up  Magnesium chloride (its liquid}
but look for the Brazilian Dr. Luiz Moura, It is sub-titled. He has other
things he speaks about but look for Magnesium chloride there. It works and
is the best and only type of Magnesium worth even thinking about. Other
forms of magnesium are very little absorbed. 2nd Google up The web site
Magnesium For Life and spend lots of time there. Two main ways to take it
orally and transdermal therapy which is spraying on legs and arm usually
diluted half out of the bottle and mix with water and spray it on , leave on
20 to 30 min and rinse off or shower off. or bath in it or do foot bath.
But for dissolving kidney stones you must take it orally. Dr Sircus on that
site writes much about it. Watch you-tube first and find the sub-titled
version. Do your home work and dig in and read read read it works. This
mineral in this form is working out rite miracles for people all over the
world. Orv in Portland or.

I'm having trouble with a kidney stone. Other than plenty of water,
wondering what folks have tried
(successfully hopefully) as a folk remedy, to help dissolve and release
the stone. I've been doing some research, and folks have mentioned such
things as drinking apple cider vinegar; drinking 2 oz of fresh squeezed
lemon juice stirred into 2 oz of olive oil; guzzling 6(!) cokes followed
by 8 ounces of smooshed
asparagus; and drinking 3 doses of a quart of water added to a cup of
lemon concentrate. (total 3 quarts of water, 3 cups of lemon
concentrate. I don't drink coke, but if it could relieve this pain I'd do
it on a one
time basis. Think I'm going to try the lemon juice/olive oil combo
first. Have any of these remedies worked for anyone else? Thanks, Sara

2010-03-19 Thread Ode Coyote

Super size me has a fatal flaw in the original premise.
Eating 3 supersized meals a day *at home* would make you fat.
No one in their right mind would ever eat that much food in a day.
Just one of those is enough food for an entire day.
The subject in the film had to force feed himself just to choke it all down.

And the very idea that you NEED to eat 3 meals a day is ridiculous.
If working heavy labor, maybe, but even then a full tummy can be very
uncomfortable so a very light breakfast and lunch works best, then load on
the calories after work.

CSAnti fungals

2010-03-19 Thread Saralou Pedigo
There are quite a few anti fungal essential oils. In my experience, none
work exclusively and thoroughly on nail fungus. However, it may be that
you'll want to add a few drops here and there to augment your treatment. Not
sure the body / fungus acclimates to treatment but adding 2-3 drops (yes,
drops) of any one essential oil to your mixture and then changing off every
week might be of benefit. Most if not all on my list below contain phenols.
Phenols are antiseptic chemicals, stimulate the body, beneficial in small
doses; large doses can be a poison to the nervous system and other body
systems.

Again, make sure they're diluted to .1% or less of total volume--hence the 2
drops in an oz. or two of your iodine/DMSO mixture. [note: Some essential
oil MLMs advocate the use of neat - undiluted - essential oils. While very
effective in treating a variety of maladies, it is the path to
sensitization--not a pretty picture.]

Extra virgin coconut oil is noted for it's anti fungal properties. I
wouldn't count on it to eradicate a foot/nail fungus but I would use it to
prevent one, once you've cleared it up.

Caution, to NOT take too much at once. If you have blocked arteries it
needs to be removed slowly, if you take too much, chunks can break off

Re: CS(LL) Is it ok to use DMSO or MSM in a nebulizer with CS ??

2010-03-19 Thread James Lembeck
DMSO is a great product, however the quality of some of the material being sold
is questionable. There is only one company that sells pharma grade material is
the US, most of the rest comes from China (or else where). Now this is where is
gets sticky, unless the material is USP material there can be impurities in it
(they can be anything). Then when the 'maker' here is the US rebottles the 200
gal drums they import, they put the product into PLASTIC bottles that can
contain a number of potentially harmful chemicals (e.g. BPA and others). And
becuase DMSO is a solvent, it will 'pull' what ever is in the plastic into the
product over time, especially with an increase in temp.

If you can find it, buy it in GLASS bottles. And if you want to do some
detective work call the manufacturer (who ususlly is only a marketing company,
because almost all of them TOLL the product out to a subcontractor) to see if
they will supply you with a C of A (cert of analysis). Yeah, seems like a lot
of work, but it will be worth it.

the ready made sodium ascorbate.  dee

 Dorothy,
I would have to see the spec sheet for this ingredient (each manufacturer is

something that is 'buffered'. Typically calcium ascorbate is the ingredient
of choice simply because of its pH, the other form has too much sodium in it
 for for broad spectrum use.

I sort of came into this conversation on the 'back side' so I am not sure
what the application for this product is (for you).

Caution, to NOT take too much at once. If you have blocked arteries it needs to
be removed slowly, if you take too much, chunks can break off and cause a
stroke. But this is not a problem, it will clear vessels usually within a month

When email programs do not allow such a choice by domain, it should be

There is no reason a separate yahoo or gmail account cannot be set up

The volume of the silverlist is rather large, and I like reading PTs

Hi Gail,
The company actually manufactures the raw material, but they do not sell direct
to the public...they resell to others that sell to the public. This is a
problem across the board with ALL supplements, the public never knows where the
raw material originated, or if it is really what is claimed on the label. I
have been in this business for 30 years and this is my biggest gripe. I wish I
could point you in a direction. If you call the distributor and they will not
provide you with the C of A then try someplace else, it just means they don't
know what they are selling most of the time, or maybe don't care. If they
really cared they would provide you with what ever you need in the interest of
good customer service.

I wouldn't even eat one McDonald's meal a day.
Their meat is NOT meat, and their food and every
other fast food joint's food is full of MSG, and
yeah a whole lot of grease. Anyone who thinks
eating fast food every day is healthy needs a
reality check. I have seen and know people that
eat fast food nearly every day of the week,
whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The
unhealthy kind of fat alone is enough to keep me
away. There are kids that eat hamburgers and
pizza every day in school. In my town that's
exactly what they serve, yeah they offer the
regular lunch too, but what kid is gonna choose
veggies over a burger and fries, or pizza? And he
didn't eat every meal supersized. He only got
supersize if they asked him if he wanted it, which
may have been 50% of the time. And he ate every
item on the menu at least once. Did you actually
watch the film? The rules were laid out at the
beginning. And the lab results on his blood and
such weren't faked.
So three meals a day for 30 days or One meal a day
for 90 days, still getting way more calories and
fat than anyone needs at one sitting. Not to
mention the HFCS in the sodas, and the brominated
bread of the buns, and the high salt content.
McDonald's even admits their chicken isn't chicken
and their food is unhealthy. I avoid fast food
like the plague.

Well if you watched the film, he set up rules for
the experiment at the very beginning. He had to
eat three meals a day, he had to eat every item on
the menu, and he could only supersize the order if
they asked him if he wanted to supersize it. He
stuck by the rules for the experiment. Overall I
think he did a great job of showing how unhealthy
the stuff is. Even the doctors were surprised at
the damage the stuff was doing to him, and he was
a fairly healthy guy to begin with. If you're not
healthy then I imagine the damage is much greater.

Re: CSlecithin

2010-03-19 Thread James Lembeck
Lecithin will not necessarily smell bad, and unless you can test for oxidative
markers (peroxide being one) you won't be able to. The color will be darker for
'old' oxidized product, it may stick together, be slimy and or clump. The
product we use is ALWAYS refrigerated.

The extraction process in some products uses chemicals to extract the material.
What is left behind are hexane insolubles...since we never heat the product, I
am not sure what the smell is coming from.

Hope that helps,
Dr. Lembeck

Heya Sol,

The presence or absence of read reciept requests from anybody has now
been rendered moot by a global setting that strips such headers from
all mail to the list.

It is always possible that some new abberation of e-mail protocols will
cause problems or annoyances in the future, but at least the 3
different versions of such requests that I know about are now being
automatically stripped.

Generally it is poor etiquette to indiscriminately subject others to
such requests. Most competent mail programs or systems will allow you
to completely (and silently) ignore such requests. Those of you being
subjected to pop-ups are being harassed needlessly by your own
software. You should be able to configure your setup to ignore them and
not bother you at all.

Just as important, though, is that no well designed system should make
it so inconvenient to turn the request feature on and off that someone
like PT would be reluctant to accommodate the preferences of his
recipients on an individual basis.

Under the old configuration, if PT was unwilling or unable to turn off
requests, I would have been forced to exclude them from participation
in the list. Being able to quickly and easily solve the issue by
technical means, allows us the luxury of ignoring the issue instead.

I have read that can happen with floaters, and I'm still hoping for that
for my floaters. It also could be because my cataracts are still early
stage. Some threadiness, but also still mainly color change in the lens
itself.
Though disappointed they are not gone, after a year of very expensive
eye drops plus other measures, I would hate to stop the drops and then
have them get much worse. Maybe for me simply stopping or greatly
slowing progression is good enough. With my vision as it is, I am not
nearly ready for surgery yet.

I know Bob's Red Mill doesn't contain aluminum because I have the C of A, as
for other brands, you would have to obtain a similar document to make that
determination yourself. Baking powders and soda's offered by companies will
state that their product does, or does not contain aluminum on the label. This
has to be done on a product by product basis. A lot depends on where the
material originates.

Not sure where you are getting your info from, if you have documentation to the
contrary please post it.

In addition I should have mentioned that it also depends on its country of
origin, several years ago there was a big problem with sodium bicarb coming out
of China that contained excessive amounts of heavy metals. It can be mined, and
or processed chemically to make it commercially viable, there are 6 different
grades, the grades uses vary according to the desired application. A lot
depends on how it is processed, and what it is processed with that will
determine the purity of the final product.

Hope this helps.

Hello Marshall,

It has been a couple of days now, and there is some silver that is now
covering the bottom of my bottle.

I added some baking soda to the solution and brought the PH up to 6.7. The
ORP now reads around 20. I believe the earlier reading was around 186, so
there seems to be some relationship to PH. While 20 is not quite 0, it is
pretty close, and I am still a little acidic with the solution.

The amount of silver on the bottom of the bottle looks to be about the same
as was observed in the other bottle.

 Hello Marshall,

In theory you are correct. IF all of the silver oxide has been converted
to
silver metal, the ORP should read 0.

However, I have found that ORP measurement can be less than exact under
certain conditions. I use it as a general indicator and to monitor
change.

For example, if you have a pond with some fish in it and the ORP of the
pond
water drops below around 250 algae will begin to form. However, if you
raise the ORP of the water to above around 550, you will kill the fish.

You can use the same numbers for the water for cut flowers or for a cut
Christmas tree. When the ORP of the water drops below 250, stemic rot
will
form and a biofilm will form in the container. This will block the plants
ability to absorb water and the flower or tree will quickly dry out. If
you
use water that has an ORP much above 550, you will poison the flowers or
tree, and they will quickly dry out. If you use water in the sweet
range,
you will double the life of the flowers or tree.

H2O2 starts out with an ORP of around 450. This level drops as the H2O2
 ages.

When purifying water with chlorine or chlorine dioxide you want the ORP to
 be above 650.

I seem to remember that there may be a loose relationship between ORP and
PH. I may be above 0 because the PH of the solution is below neutral.
I'll
add some baking soda to the solution to bring the PH to 7 and measure the
 ORP again.

 Tom

So, if I am understanding this correctly, the more positive the ORP is,
the more oxidative it is. Thus the drop in the ORP would indicate that
something that was oxidative (silver oxide) has been reduced (now silver
metal). Unless I am misinterpreting, that is what I would expect.
However if all the silver was reduced though, the question for me is,
what is still there that is oxidizing, that is why is the ORP not 0?

  Marshall
