TE is a huge variable as the generators do NOT make the particles that show
up in the laser beam...they are formed out of the the ions that the
generators DO make, according to environmental elements that change day to
day.
IONs cannot be seen with a laser.

Jean I have the same issue with my new one, and have gone back to the old one
more frequently. I do see the water, I buy the best distille water not from the
grocery store, directly from Ideal Water, and still use the lazer. I have done
all the usual maintenance checks.

one is finished.  I used to check the laser beam but quit some time now.
Everything is the same, water brand, machine same, glass jars same, laser light

strong the laser beam was, there was no beam going through either jar, even
though the machine is automatic and set as high as it will go.  The newest

no beam.

Does anyone have a theory as to what might be wrong?

I cranked up the old machine but it will take days to find out if it makes a

Even if the old machine works, this will not explain the new machine.

So happy for you my dear. Just fyi people have reported getting bad batches of
distilled water from Walgreen's so if you happen to have a problem pull out the
TDS tester for the water. Have a great night my dear.

That was the problem!  The beam is good and strong now.  What a relief!
Even the old machine is half way to having a good beam.
Yes, I do seed each new batch.  Not sure about a warranty but no need now.
No, on the TDF, I use the good Walgreens NICE! water and always had good
success with it.  I would have though if all else had failed.
I’d done the toothbrush test last night from the CS to 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and
had zero reaction, so knew it was making some CS.
I would have replaced the laser batteries by tonight but those are fine after
wiping the silver plate off the inside of the gallon glass jar (with a spigot).
Always something new to learn, just when you think you know it all.
I’m so thankful to have this list!  I appreciate the advice!!

CSRe CS: Puzzled

2006-11-13 Thread Harold MacDonald
I got fed up with store bought DW,the quality was too inconsistent,so I
bought a good distiller.I run the DW thru the distiller twice as it does
make a difference.Now I use two Can. Maple coins [.] with a Xfrmer @ 32
V.rectified current thru a 22K resistor in 1.5 litres of DW.This runs @ 1
ma,rising to approx. 1.5 ma after 12 hrs.I also use an aquarium bubbler for
stirring.I am satisfied with the results now.
I also use the single run DW for all potable uses, but treat it with
concentrace minerals to restore what is lost in distilling.I also try to put
the clear glass jugs with DW in the sun for a few hours, when possible.
