Re: [Sipp-users] SIPp IMS Bench. Is sipp.dtd incomplete?
Yesterday I was reading our maling list trying to find a similar problem but I failed, that's why I need to insist on doing it. Because of that I'm trying to be more explicit. Maybe somebody can help me better it I describe the steps I have done. 1. I installed the version 3.1.2 (unstable ossl) 2. I download the IMS Bench from svn into my Eclipse. 3. I opened the basic scenarios from IMS Bench svn, ims_uac exactly. 4. I opened my comman line, went to the directory of my xml files an execute sipp -sf ims_uac ... and the result is the following: 2008-10-03 09:54:06:3281223020446.328125: Unknown element 'info' in xml scenario file. Questions: 1. Is it better working in Linux? 2. Is it mandatory execute manager.xml before executing my scenario? 3. Why labels are not included in sipp.dtd declared on xml scenario file? I hope somebody understand my problem better. Thanks in advance :) On Thu, Oct 2, 2008 at 9:19 AM, Vanessa Tejada Muñoz [EMAIL PROTECTED]wrote: Yes, my editor relies on the dtd because the header of the xml document has specified it. Re: [Sipp-users] SIPp IMS Bench. Is sipp.dtd incomplete?
AFAIK, IMS Bench SIPp has only ever been used on Unix. Yes, running the manager is required. IMS Bench SIPp is not just some set of IMS scenarios for SIPp. It is a more complex system, based on a modified SIPp and that is targeted at benchmarking in a reasonably automated and reproducible way IMS or SIP network components. It comes with its own documentation at http://sipp.sourceforge.net/ims_bench More importantly, you cannot use another version of SIPp than the one that is part of the IMS Bench SIPp project. It is a self-contained package (source only so far) where all included components are meant to work together. Please read more about what IMS Bench SIPp is at http://sipp.sourceforge.net/ims_bench/intro.html -David From: Vanessa Tejada Muñoz [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: vendredi 3 octobre 2008 10:00 To: Verbeiren, David Cc: sipp-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [Sipp-users] SIPp IMS Bench. [Sipp-users] implementing SIP proxy and redirect Servers
Hi, I want to build test bed contains SIP user agents and also proxy and redirect servers, I can use SIPp for user agents, but what about servers. anyone who has idea about which easiest tool should I use with combination with SIPp causing no problem, I need only the main functionalities of those servers. We use sipX as a SIP proxy and registrar in our test lab. [Sipp-users] SIPp and Tone Menus/IVR
Hi All, Sorry if this is a novice question but I am trying to use sipp to load test a system where a tone menu must be navigated in order to connect the call to the other end. I have tried using the following in my scenario but with no success. nop action exec play_pcap_audio=pcap/dtmf_2833_1.pcap / /action /nop On the sipp wiki I have seen information about a built in 'media' scenario with options like mediasend file=soundfile.wav / but when run sipp -sn media etc.. i'm presented with a message that no scenario 'media' exists I'm hoping someone might have done this before and be able to point me in the right direction. Re: [Sipp-users] implementing SIP proxy and redirect Servers
You can also use OpenSER for a SIP proxy/registrar. If you are particularly motivated, it think it would be possible to get SIPp to behave like these servers; but it is probably not worth the effort.
