hi, we were facing similar issues. But if we just block words like proxy, proxify etc they will not be able to search and browse any sites with that word in the url. This was very effective for us. we are also using squidguard to have double filters. [squid-users] SARG issue
Hi Folks, I am getting this error when i run daily script for SARG. I tried with all the SARG versions but getting the same problem. The permissions on all log files are squid.squid. Hi All, We are using to Squid and Squidguard to restrict unwanted sites. Squid is integrated with AD and is working fine. But the problem we are facing is with Google talk. Is there any way to block Google Talk in Squid via its client. I am successfull in blocking talk.google.com from SquidGuard but somehow i can still login to Google talk from its client when i give proxy authetication in its properties. [squid-users] Squid Java problem
Hi all, We are using squid proxy which is integrated with AD on our network without much problems and everything seems to be working fine except when site makes the use of Java. One of our teams is accessing site which is making use of Java. As soon as the site loads it starts prompting for username and password and never goes away even though we enter the correct userid and password and we have to kill the browser process. We are making the use of latest JVM. My question is what is the solution to this problem? Hi All, I am facing a funny problem. I am using Squid along with Squidguard for internet access control. Whenever user tried to access the Orginal URL given below he is able to access it. But if tries to access the same URL from google cache squidguard gives Access Denied error. What could be the reasons for this funny problem? Thanks in advance.
