It sounds like the Translucent Flat Dials that I was discussing in an earlier post, maybe a month ago, give or take a few weeks. ...except that I was discussing _2-sided_ Translucent Flat Dials, with a gnomon on each side of the dial-plate, with the dial intended to be readable from both sides. If you hold your cursor to the right side of any image you will see a carat that will take you to the next photograph - and eventually to models for the construction.
