Re: [pfSense Support] Errors doing cvsup_current

2006-01-03 Thread Bill Marquette
John, dunno if you figured out the solution to this, but I stumbled on
this tonight myself. Do a:
 pkg_add -r
ftp://ftp2.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6-stable/All/lighttpd-1.4.8.tbz

and you should be able to rerun build_embedded.sh and continue. I
suspect (haven't tried this) that if you logged into the webUI and
upgraded it to 1.0b1 you would have had the right packages installed
too.

Those were the last lines before it stopped...
The other script seemed to continue after that and copy packages and
running plugins and lots of other stuff I assumed that build_embedded
 did the same thing.

Where does the image get put then? I did a find for both *.img and *.gz
and I didn't see it anywhere. Or do I need to run something else to
 actually create the image?

 Thanks
 John

 What problem? That looks normal.

Checked there is no varmfs directory, only varmfs.sh under /extra
Also did a find for it and nothing turned up.

   Thanks Again

[pfSense Support] beeps gone?

2006-01-03 Thread Vinc Duran
Hi, I'm trying out the beta and I don't hear the very helpful startup
beeps anymore. I don't see an option in the gui. Did the beeps get
taken out or is it some problem on my machine only?
Thanks,
Vinc
