Hi All, I'm new to the group and have really enjoyed reading the postings.  I have been taking everything that had a little biodiesel in it and pouring it into a 55 gallon drum.  All those little odds and ends of biodiesel and water/soap and mini batches are starting to add up.  I have roughly 35 gallons of biodeisel that I can put into my storage tank.  I figure that I can dewater (boil) it and reprocess it to make sure that it is good biodiesel.  My question is how much methanol and lye should I use to reprocess this bioD and what are the coniquenses of using too much or too little catalyst?
It actually doesn't look too bad but I would feel better if it was reprocessed.
Thanks Richard Keith
