Hi Semantic Wiki researchers, developers and others,

  this  August,  more  precisely at August 21-23, there will be a rare
  opportunity.  In  Odense,  Denmark,  there  are  at  this time three
  events at once:
  - The Second Int. Symposium on Wikis (www.wikisym.org)
  - The ACM Hypertext Conference (http://www.ht06.org/)  (24/25.8)
  - The Second Int. Workshop on Semantic Wikis
(http://wibke2006.semwiki.org)
with a focus on Wiki-based Knowledge Engineering

 You can hear talks from people like:
 - Ward Cunningham,
 - Doug Engelbart,
 - Angela Beesley, and many more!

  Wikisym also has Panels on: Wikis in Education  The Future of Wikis

  Research papers and practitioner reports on: wiki technology, wiki
  sociology and philosophy, wiki uses: for example, in software,
  education, and politics and many more!

  Workshops on: wikis in education, wikipedia research, wiki markup
  standards, wikis and the semantic web

So this is a one-time chance to bridge the gap from Semantic Wikis and
Wikis. We all can learn a lot from the success of normal wikis: What
made it possible? What features are important? Also: Which problems
are seen by the wiki community?

I plan to attend the workshop, even if I don't have a paper to submit.
Actually we are going on working on WikiFactory (we presented a poster at
Budva) but we don't have newer results yet.
