[swinog] UPC rejecting mails as spam?

2015-12-10 Diskussionsfäden Per Jessen
Does anyone @UPC happen to know what this means:

host mx.hispeed.ch [213.46.255.2]: 552 5.2.0 rl4b1r00p3kCCMl01l4bgK
automated process detected unsolicited content

The email is being sent from a UPC connection, via Hostpoint
(mail.hostpoint.ch) to a user @swissonline.ch.

The user has tried getting an explanation from UPC, but sofar no luck.

your email ended up in my spam folder, and I'm using google mail. So, it
looks like something is wrong with your sender host.

Here's what I found in email headers:

X-I7-Spam-score: -2.6
X-I7-Spam-score_int: -25
X-I7-Spam-bar: --
X-I7-Spam-report: Spam detection software,
running on the system "caiman.init7.net", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or
label similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.

It is a known trouble and in the past I found a contact that could
solve the issue.

The Mailservices für UPC Cablecom Switzerland are operated by Chello.at
in Austria.

We had a similar case a couple of years ago. We opened a trouble ticket
@ UPC and got repeatedly told, that their techs are working on it and
that it was not easy getting a reply, because UPC is such a large
distribute company and so many department being involbed in the problem
finding.

After about two weeks and no luck with the trouble ticket @ UPC
Cablecom, I started calling Chello AT and ask for a mail tech. Being
persistent, I was sucessfull. The issue was simple problem caused by
the customer himself and resolved within a hour. I asked why they did
not react on the trouble ticket I opened via UPC Switzerland and was
told by the Postmaster team in Austria, that they would have fixed the
problem immediately, if the ticket would have been assigned to them.

I did try to get a comment from the service supervisor @ UPC Cablecom on
why the ticket was not assigned to the right team, but that was
completely ignored.

So my advice: Call Chello in Austria and be persistent, if you want
email problems solved with any of the UPC Cabecom Email Domains hosted
there!

Regards!
