Dear Colleagues,
We would like to remind you of the Local Internet Registries
Training Course, that still have places available.
Date: Monday, 20 October 2003
Time: 0900 - 1700
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
The main objective of the LIR Training Course is to educate the RIPE NCC
membership on how to interact with the RIPE NCC in order to request
Internet resources.
The target audience of the LIR Training Course are employees
of new LIRs and new staff from established LIRs, who will be dealing
with the RIPE NCC as part of their regular work duties.
Therefore, we expect a course participant to be an official
contact person of an LIR, as registered in the RIPE NCC registry files.
Please note that if you are *not* a contact person, the RIPE NCC
training administration requires a confirmation from a registered
contact person that you have authorised to attend.
Without this confirmation, you cannot attend the
LIR Training Course.
The course is primarily administrative and not technical, and it does not
include hands-on exercises. The course is conducted in the English
language.
The RIPE NCC LIR Training course is *free* of charge,
since it is covered with the membership fee.
However, only two persons from the same LIR may attend one
particular course.
You also can send more than 2 people to the course from the same
registry.
