Hallo zusammen, ich versuche jetzt den aktuellen Stand nocheinmal kurz darzustellen: Das Touchpad funktioniert weiterhin nicht, in den letzten Tagen habe ich versucht das Touchpad nach dem Ubuntu-Artikel einzurichten. Außerdem habe ich mal die alte xorg.conf (vom System als es noch funktionierte) auf den Rechner kopiert, und geschaut, ob das Touchpad vorher per HAL eingerichtet war. Dabei habe ich festgestellt, dass das Touchpad in keiner der Konfigurationsdateien erwähnt wird, was mich etwas stutzig macht. Wenn ich in einer Woche aus dem Urlaub wieder komme werde ich noch einmal versuchen nach dem Ubuntu-Artikel vorzugehen. Außerdem habe ich festgestellt, dass es z.Z. auch nicht mit dem Herstellertreiber unter XP läuft. Das könnte daran liegen, dass der Treiber nicht richtig funktioniert, oder das Touchpad tatsächlich kaputt ist; das sollte ich auch noch mal verfolgen. Ich melde mich wieder wenn ich was neues weiß. Hallo Leute, hat jemand Erfahrung im Einrichten eines Synaptic-Touchpads auf einem Laptop? Auf meinem alten System hat es ohne Zutun funktioniert, seit der Neuinstallation funktionierten weder die Tasten, noch das eigentliche Touchpad. Im Internet habe ich leider nichts hilfreiches gefunden, außer Konfigurationen für die xorg.conf, die aber nichts bewirken. Der Treiber müsste eigentlich installiert sein, sofern er durch eines der folgenden Pakete bereitgestellt wird: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics xfree86-driver-synaptics Unten sind ein paar Zeilen aus /var/log/Xorg.0.log angehängt, falls jemand etwas damit anfangen kann. Und sollte das eine Rolle spielen: Ich benutze Debian Squeeze.
