Pasting Excel tables in HTML Editor
I selected and copied a Range in Excel today and tried to paste it in the HTML editor but that fails to work. Doing the same in both Plain Text Editor works, but of course then the formatting is gone When I paste the contents of the clipboard in Word first, and then select and copy it again I can paste the data in the HTML editor (with the formatting) I am using Word/Excel 2007 Can anyone else confirm this ? Hi Roelof, I'm quite confident when I say that The Bat! can't do that. Bitten by a folder template? Wierd. An hour ago I've read in the TBBETA list. 15 minutes ago I was on a webpage and wanted to ask them a question, so I clicked on the emailaddress. Then that small window of TB asked me to choose an account. I did, choose the aaount under which TBBETA has it's subfolder. thebat_pro_4-1-9.msi not installing in XP x64
Greetings TBBETA, Been quite a while and feels good to be back! Just upgraded and have been doing some install testing on x64. TB v4.1.9 will not install in x64 (see pic) - either from a clean install or on top of a successful TB v4.0.38.msi with OTFE. When the v4.1.9 failed its install over v3.0.38 it also emptied out the directory when it cleaned up after itself, deleting the existing mail base. -- The error is 1355. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used ... -- Voyager installed just fine over v3.?.? onto an 8GB USB drive in the same OS. Re: Quick Search suddenly Invisible
Just a question: Is this useful to anyone? I have tried to use Quicksearch but always ended up opening the (real) Search in order to find what I was looking for. KV It is for sophisticated users, not beginners, that is true. I think, KV it is a useful feature, use regularly. As has become clear in the meantime, the Quicksearch has more functions that first meets the eye. This is from the help: Quick Search Quick Search is a real-time search to find a message in the message list. As you type, the first message matching your string is selected in the list; type on for further refinement. If the next letter you type has no match in the list it is automatically removed from the search string. The selection prevales. 1. Go to View-Toolbars-Quick Search 2. Type your search string into the Search field 3. Press Ctrl+Enter to find the next message with the same search string 4. Shift+Ctrl+Enter takes you back to the previous result 5. Press Enter to invoke a Quick Filter using the Quick Search string. Only messages matching the Quick Search are now shown. 6. Press Ctrl+= or Esc to remove the Quick Filter. Note: To get to the Quick Search toolbar you can also right-click on the the toolbar dock and choose it from the pop-up menu. Note: Quick Search also works when its toolbar is not visible. Beware: Quick Search works on a selected folder/account only! Vili Current beta is 4.1.9.1 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I'm going to guess he's referring to the need to buy an upgrade with the jump in Voyager versions. Like the already mentioned gotcha with the upgrade, there is no warning that the new version of Voyager will require you to purchase an upgrade before you load it in. It didn't catch me totally by surprise since I've been following the beta list, but I can see where that's probably more exception than the norm. -- ò.ó Nick Danger [MUA: TB! Sorting office and folders
Listmembers: The copy of TB! we use at work is, among other things, used to collect reports about detected viruses. Over time I have created a huge number of filters to split all reports up by virus name, each to its own folder. The filters are set to create the folder of it doesn't exist already. All folders are set up to retain messages for 30 days so the message count for a folder gives me instant information about how many viruses of that name were detected over the last month. Because the viruses that are detected vary, I now have lots of folders that have no more messages in them, and was planning to clear some of them from the list. However, even though the filter is set to 'create if doesn't exist', removing the folder a filter is pointing to, immediately causes it to reset to 'Inbox'. I'd like to be able to (temporarily) clear empty folders from the account, without having to fix the filter again. I had hoped that by setting 'create if doesn't exist' the reset to Inbox wouldn't happen.
