[TheBat! 4.2 RC1] serious problem with AVG 8.5 plugin

2009-06-05 Thread GwenDragon
Hello RITLabs devs,

please fix the problem with AVG 8.5's antivirus plugin.
4.1.11 and AVG 8.5 worked fine.
Your changes in the following betas up to 4.2RC1 made AVG's plugin unusable.

Please see bug:

If the new memory stick is formatted with the same file system as the
old one, it should be no problem. Retrieve the serial number of the
old stick - let's say it is drive F: - by typing vol F:{enter} at
the command prompt. Get a little tool named VolumeID from
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897436.aspx and
change the new drive's serial number to the old one's. Now Voyager
should not complain any more.

Does auto backup only backup to C drive?

Hello,

I've tried changing the location where the autobackup should take
place, from c:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\TBMail to a
directory on drive D. However, this change in the TB Options
-- Preferences -- System settings, does not seem to be respected by
TB.
