You don't specify your TB version nor your OS, that might be relevant.

Hello,

The  icon  won't  move if it's Pinned to the taskbar. If you Unpin
the  icon it acts as it should. So try pinning it to the taskbar (make
sure  you  have new mail/unread mail.), then unpin (it will work properly) then 
pin
and it will stop moving. This is a bug.

Same here. The weekly Microsoft Download notifications are readable 
in HTML in 4.2.10.3, but not in 4.2.10.4 and .5. Note added.

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I've tried to pin it and it stopped 
moving. We do not plan to change anything in it since we don't know what can we 
do.

Some of the extensions/protocols could not be associated. It is
possible you do not have access rights to do that or some software
prevents you from that. It was not possible to associate with

System's Default Mail Client

I've tried all four samples from the bug tracker and I can only
confirm. The msi version displays them correctly while the latest
beta only shows them partially and has also trouble with scrolling.

in the URL Manager, watched the message appear... and disappear.

However, after this first disappearing act it displayed just fine.

Then I opened the URL Manager again, removed the link, restarted
TB!, opened the message, and guess what? ;-)

I seem to have several. In The Bat!'s program dir its size is 98 kB,
in the backup files of my PC and of my Win2k notebook it is 101 kB. Is
that a matter of backup files? I see another one in my DL folder of 56
kB, but that may be obsolete, as it is from May 2002... ;)

tbmapi.dll is distributed in the MSI algongside with thebat.exe. 

You should put tbmapi.dll in the same folder with thebat.exe to make Simple 
MAPI work.

in the context, the probability that the message did not disappear any
more is greater than the other choice.

So, you are saying that the linked .gif (which didn't display in the
URL in my browser) made the message disappear? Is that WAD?

After downloading and opening it, the message turned blank after a while.

The  second  time  I  clicked  on  the If you don't see this email please click
here-link, which made it show up in my browser.

From  then  on,  the  message did no longer disappear when I clicked on the 
.msg
file,  even  though  the  pictures  did  not show up. When I allowed to show the
pictures via the URL-manager, the message turned blank

Since  then,  clicking on the .msg file shows the message including the pictures
and without disappearing...

Yet it _did_ disappear. Somehow permitting TB! to download the
link(s) seems to cause this behaviour. OTOH blocking the link seems
to make the message disappear if you try to watch it twice. All in
all it looks like a very weird riddle to me.

It looks like it. But it also looks like it's not consistent.
