RF Yes, I meant Read Filters.
RF IMO CTRL+M or opening from Mail Ticker should trigger filter as well
RF (as far as I remember it was like that in v4).

In version 4 any method to mark a message as having been read would trigger
the Read filter.

I fully agree. After so many years of marking the messages as read with
Ctrl+M (or my customised Space bar) it is many times a nonsense having
to scroll through a long message with Smart Space just to mark it as
read.

The problem was already in 5.1.6.1 (but see BTW, later in this message), the
problem did/does not exist in the 5.1.0.4 beta...

The pictures I am talking about are not the ones contained within the message,
but those that are referenced to and must
be downloaded.

In 5.1.6.1 and 5.1.6.2 the problem occurs as well with TB!-viewer as with the
system-viewer.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

BTW: after I uninstalled 5.1.6.2 and reinstalled the 5.1.6.1 msi
and launched TB! by letting it start after
installation had finished, I got an error message (since I could not
capture it's content with Ctrl+C, I took a
screenshot). Strangely enough The About-screen said it still was the
5.1.6.2-version. I am sure I did use the 5.1.6.1
msi. When I uninstalled it again, it said it was 5.1.6.1 (as expected).

RT Check if TB! is not running in the background and check if you can
RT find thebat.exe somewhere.

I repeated what I had done before with (almost) the same result (without any
error warning though).
I then deleted the 5.1.6.2 exe-file and chose repair. This time the 5.1.6.1
exe file was installed.

I do not have the problem with the pictures not being downloaded for html-mails
in 5.1.6.1 now.

I'll give 5.1.6.2 another try after this to make sure it's not a local problem.

By simply substituting the 5.1.6.1 .exe file with the 5.1.6.2 .exe one, it
still works.
Now I'll try the .msi uninstall and install method again

Still works. Slower than 5.1.0.4 (no idea why), but it works.
