It depends on what folder is actually selectedin The Bat! If you speak about Inbox, look in the connection center what folder is selected now in The Bat! You can specify multiple simultaneous IMAP connections in The Bat!, there is no limitation for The Bat! - it is up to your server to accept as many simultaneous connections as it can, but, anyway, The Bat! won't open more connections than you have folders. If The Bat! in the connection center has a folder selected, then it receives notifications about changes in this folder immediatly. On the other hand, it can happen when in the interface, one folder is selected while in the connection center - another one. There is currently a problem in The Bat! that it is extermely slow than there are many messages in a folder and you have configured to retrieve all messages in the whole (body+headers+attachments) - in this case, first time, until it has completed loading the messages - will be extremely slow, but we will make this fast soon. The second time it really started and as you can see, I am able to even write a message. In both cases I used the /STARTUP_TIMING_LOG option. After sending this message I will close TB! and see what happens when I try to launch it for the third time. Only the German "new spelling" and "old spelling" versions recognize some words. None of the orhet languages, in whatever constellation. The plain "German" doesn't either. I was typing the message and all of the words where marked with the spell check. I found it was defaulted to Finnish. I changed the settings to American English. The the window froze and the program shut down. I went back into my settings and installed the full language module. Again, when I trying to create a message, the program froze and shut down.
