Voyager: refiltering with new filters doesn't work (was: Voyager: new filters and new filter conditions don't work)
Hi all, on Tue, 3 Feb 2009 21:25:25 +0100GMT I wrote: PM I created a couple of new filters for incoming messages and added PM OR conditions to existing ones. None of them works when I refilter the PM inbox. The subject I chose was not precise. The new filters do work for new incoming messages, but they don't work for existing messages when I refilter the inbox. According to the filter log all messages are processed by the last filter in the row, but they are not treated according to that filter (which I wouldn't want anyway), but nothing happens. -- Cheers Peter The Bat! Test machine: MS Windows XP Home SP2 italian with Voyager 4.1.11.1 1) I've a message in Inbox with subject Linux day - 25 ottobre 2) in Sorting Office I create a new filter named Test with condition Subject contains Linux and action Play Sound (Beep using PC Speaker) 3) right click on Inbox and I select Re-Filter, then I check the mark on Incoming mail for Rule sets to apply, finally I press OK 4) I ear a bep :-) Well, I also tested a filter that moves messages...
