The behaviour this gives (which is what I wanted) is that an unread message is bold and red, a read message that has unread messages below in the same thread is bold and white, and other read messages are white but not bold. Re: [OT] An image catalogue app with VF ???
Hello Martin, Sorry for this clearly 90% OT post, but I was searching the web up and down for an image catalogue application that works just as perfectly as the virtual folders in the bat: - Mark some folders on the harddrive as watched - Specify some IPTC or EXIF fields in the images as filter (most needed would of course be the IPTC Keywords) - As result see only those images in a thumbnail view that match the settings Maybe someone found something like this? Thanks for any hints... Sorry for my late reply, I've been away a few days. You may want to try ACDSee 7.0 from http://www.acdsystems.com/, I belive it does what you want. -- Best regards, Miguel A. Visual Indication of ALT Searching
When I ALT-click on some entry in the message list, The Bat! goes into what I call ALT Search Mode. This works just fine. However, there does not seem to be any indication that The Bat! is in this mode. Is there some visual indication of this that I am missing? This can be a problem for me because I will enter ALT Search Mode and then switch folder and wonder why there don't seem to be any messages. Should ALT Search Mode disable itself when switching from folder to folder. I can see advantages for doing so and not doing so.
