Filters
Hello one and all, I can't seem to figure out how to get a single filter to route incoming mail to individual folders based on the sender field. I have one name in the RULE tab under FILTERING STRINGS and the remainder of the names in the ALTERNATIVES tab. The filter is in the INCOMING MAIL folder. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? -- TIA, Jack LaRosa mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Conveying information with The Bat! ver: 2.11.02 Operating? with Windows XP Pro ver 5 build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.60.7 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
That Cut Mark
I was trying to explain to a few people, on another List, about the need and usefulness of the *cut mark* sequence. What I really wanted was just a little *clout*, for want of a better word. If there was an RFC *suggesting* the use thereof, I would like to point to that in future discussions just because some people sigh just don't do things because it makes sense. Rather, they do it because it is a posted Rule. -- Regards, Robert D. _ The Bat! Yes, you seem to be trying to get a single (complicated) filter to move messages to different folders based on sender! I am using the same version of The Bat! and all of the Rules and Alternatives are only there to *select* a message. The Action tab then allows the selected message to be moved only to a single folder AFAICT.
