Mine do and I looked around for some setting that might affect that and couldn't find anything. No, the only confirmation that I have that a posting of mine has reached the list is when someone responds. I see that downstream there are two other replies to my query, so perhaps that will help. Now that I have this working, could someone now explain a little theory behind the addition of recent. Why they use that word/ Who knows, but what it does is bring back your sent messages. Google doesn't default to this since you sent it, you probably don't want to see it again. (don't shoot the messenger for that one) :)) -- Rick World events do not occur by accident. Some non-English-speaking immigrant working at Gmail chose this word. It should have been own: or self:. The reason is that Google - as the only POP provider in the world - assumes that you don't want to receive mails that you have sent. A logic I fail to understand, but luckily, this misnomed function fixes their user friendliness. In addition to the basic account in TheBat, where I receive almost all of my mail, I have a secondary account for Gmail. (I created it a while back because I was having a problem on TBUDL.) Yes, only Gmail is so user friendly that you have to scratch your head in disbelief. I hate having things work without knowing why they work. I hope to have shed some light. -- Cheers, Thomas. http://thomas.fernandez.hat-gar-keine-homepage.de/ Message reply created with The Bat! 5.4 under Windows 7 6.1 Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
