The reason I use the Bcc pane is to protect the addresses of the
recipients. In the most recent instance, it happens that all of the
recipients know one another, and their addresses. However, I feel that
it is a good habit to develop.

Indeed !!!

I get pretty annoyed at receiving group messages with everyone's email
address listed for everyone (possibly including spammers) to see.

I wish everyone I knew could follow your advice, Leonard.
