JZ Thanks - I've found the message, it says
JZ 'Depicted duplicate handle . Overwrite?'
JZ where is the name of a contact

JZ There are 31 of these messages.

JZ Any suggestions?

In fact these addresses were all in an old Outlook Express address book that I
must have imported when I first started using TheBat! about 10 years ago. The
old OE address entries had a blank name and only an e-mail address. I've
deleted the whole address book, as most of the addresses are obsolete now, and
the problem in TB! has gone away.

Thanks. So if there is no name, just an email address, in more than
one entry, TB! considers ths a duplicate. I think that's wrong.

Can somebody confirm this? Should be open a bug report about it?

Errors in new build

2013-12-02 Thread Jenny Zonneveld
I was more or less forced to upgade because in Version 5.88 TheBat! would crash
every time I wanted to move a message to a different folder (sorting rules not
being applicable).

Now in Build 6.0.10 I have a problem when the program starts, there is a
'confirm' message box hidden under the splash screen. I can just get the mouse
to click on a millimeter of the buttons, and after doing this about 10 times
the program does proceed to start up normally.

There is another problem with saving messages, this takes for ever, the
progress bar is full but the message has not be properly written until I envoke
another action in TheBat!

Has anyone else seen these errors/problems?
