This is my understanding, also. And so, my Mail folder is in the TB! directory and not in the Application Data folder. More curiously, TB!'s temp folder *is* in the App Data folder, here. Recovering Toolbars from Old Computer
I recently set up a new computer. I successfully moved TheBat and my messages over successfully. I'd like to move over my toolbars. I customized several items and don't want to go through the process again. Does anyone know where this might be stored? MR Not sure what is OFTE. On The Fly Encryption: encrypted message base. MR I found the file and had already moved it. Did you close and restart TB on your new system? MR On the old pc, I have an new toolbar. I can see reference to it in MR the tbuser.def file but I don't see it when I go to View, MR Toolbars. You wouldn't per chance use encryption on your new system, would you? I guess the unencrypted tbuser.def from your old pc wouldn't work in that case. MR Any other suggestions?
