[Techno-Chat]; Microsoft Word 2016 Accessibility Checker
Hi! I’ve not looked in the Windows 10 version of Microsoft Word 2016 yet but in the Mac version under the review ribbon tab there’s a Check Accessibility button which I assumes checks for any potential problems with the accessibility of a document. Has anyone come across this function? I gather its only very new. ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.
[Techno-Chat]; LattePanda Puts Windows 10 on a Single Board Computer
Hi! A fellow list member is faced with an annoyance, his ADSL service is down so he has limited access to the Internet. He was reading the list earlier this morning and wrote directly to me with regards to the discussion on Banana Pi, he found a Windows 10 version and it looks quite nice, see the link below. http://makezine.com/2016/08/18/lattepanda-puts-windows-10-on-a-single-board-computer/
Re: [Techno-Chat]; Banana Pi
Firstly its a P i and not P i e and I only bring this up just in case people are looking for more information on the web. Yes, the second generation can run Windows 10 but its a special version and I’m not sure as to its accessibility though its an interesting topic to research so I’ll look around for more information. > On 23 Aug 2016, at 6:29 AM, Hank Smith, and Seeing-eye dog Iona >wrote: > > you can run windows on the pie? > > > On 8/22/2016 1:27 PM, Travis Siegel wrote: >> X-SpamDetect-Info: - Start ASpam results --- >> X-SpamDetect-Info: This message may be spam. Re: [Techno-Chat]; Banana Pi
Yes, the format of the SD cards might be compatible but I’m not sure the Raspberry Pi would like Android all that much. I’m going to keep my Rasp Pi as there’s a very nice doorbell kit I have and I want to install complete with fingerprint reader on the button, will SMS or e-mail you when the doorbell rings and so it goes. > On 23 Aug 2016, at 6:27 AM, Travis Siegelwrote: > > X-SpamDetect-Info: - Start ASpam results --- > X-SpamDetect-Info: This message may be spam. I was then given a task of sending a Text Message easily from my Samsung Galaxy s6 to my friend's Apple 4S iPhone, sending a Text Message easily whilst driving was something my friend claimed he couldn't do with his iPhone 4S Perhaps its just me but I fond using a touch screen keyboard an absolute menace when on the move so I decided to employ Google Now for the Text Message sending, I have the Google Now Launcher installed and running by default. I double-tapped the "Voice Search" button at the top right of the screen below the notification panel and said "Send sms to friend saying hello". The S6 responded with "Send SMS to Friend, change it or send it", I replied with "Send it" and my friend then had it on his phone's screen. Yes, nothing much in the scheme of hthings I guess but even I was surprised just how well google now performed the task at hand given the heavy rain and other traffic noise that could be plainly heard.
