Re: [Tex-music] ties versus tenuto slurs
If you don't like the automatic avoiding of staff lines, you may use \Nosluradjust, it turns off this feature and the ties will always start at the preset point. Improvement is questionable, though. :-) Best, Stanislav. Dne 23.07.2022 v 18:59 Jean-Pierre Coulon napsal(a): Thanks for your replies. I can always work around saying \iten one pitch above or below. Jean-Pierre: The vertical offset for ties is set in musixps.tex by the value of \pstieraise. Try \def\pstieraise{0.6}. Bob T. Re: [Tex-music] ties versus tenuto slurs
The Postscript ties are avoiding staff lines automatically, that's why their position does not always match their non-PS version. Hot sure if it's the case here, though, I am long out of business... Stanislav. Dne 22.07.2022 v 23:09 Bob Tennent napsal(a): Seems to be an incompatibility between font-based ties and Postscript ties. If you work through musixps.tex, the only difference between \iten and \itie is in the /horizontal/ offset. But there should be a different /vertical/ offset as well. Bob T.
