Acid Reflux Recovery Diet and Recipes Presents the Perfect Cold Weather Dinner

Article Description:

As the leaves start to turn to fall colors and in the evenings we
are tempted to sit by a warm fire, hearty food comes to mind.
The fall and winter bring a host of root vegetables, squashes
greens and fruit from which hearty meals can be easily made. The
challenge is to keep these dishes healthy - that means keeping
them as alkaline as possible. When attempting to reverse the
symptoms of acid reflux, diet is probably the most important
consideration.

REFLUX GONE FOREVER, Natural Acid Reflux Remedies

As the leaves start to turn to fall colors and in the evenings we
are tempted to sit by a warm fire, hearty food comes to mind.
The fall and winter bring a host of root vegetables, squashes
greens and fruit from which hearty meals can be easily made. The
challenge is to keep these dishes healthy - that means keeping
them as alkaline as possible.

When attempting to reverse the symptoms of acid reflux, diet is
probably the most important consideration. That old cliché, You
are what you eat, has never been more true. If you eat food and
drink beverages which are acidic in nature, then it follows, that
you will be acidic in nature, as well. If you eat a diet which
mainly consists of so called convenience food, you don't stand
a chance of being alkaline.

In order to defeat the acid reflux condition, one must strive to
correct the pH factor of the body. 7.5 pH is the ideal alkaline
body level. You can test the pH level of your saliva with pH
paper, which can be purchased at any pharmacy. Some medical
authorities claim that all illness, including cancer, cannot
exist in an alkaline environment. If that is true, it is
certainly food for thought!

It is important to remember that the acid reflux condition could
not perpetuate itself without a damaged esophagus. In order to
heal this affliction, the esophagus must be allowed to repair.
This can be accomplished by eliminating food and drink that are
irritants and, or acidic. Avoiding anything which relaxes the
LES (lower esophageal sphincter) is another important
consideration. The LES is the muscular valve which separates the
esophagus and the stomach. It is when this valve relaxes, that
acid and pepsin splash up from the stomach into the esophagus and
throat, causing acid reflux.

The hydrochloric acid in the stomach has been compared in
strength, to the acid in a car battery. With acid reflux, the
constant assault of acid causes little lacerations to develop on
the lining of the esophagus. Until these lacerations have had a
chance to heal, spicy foods, such as acidic tomato products, hot
peppers, raw garlic and raw onions should also be eliminated from
the diet. They just further irritate the

Creative Flower Card Messages Worthy Of Harry Potter Author J.K. Rowling

Article Description:

As much as we might like to be, we're not all talented writers
like the best-selling author of the Harry Potter books series,
J.K. Rowling. Those of us who aren't skilled writers (and
probably some who are!) sometimes struggle with finding the right
words to say.

As much as we might like to be, we're not all talented writers
like the best-selling author of the Harry Potter books series,
J.K. Rowling. Those of us who aren't skilled writers (and
probably some who are!) sometimes struggle with finding the right
words to say. Lucky for us, we can send flowers to say it without
words...or can we? What about that card that goes along with the
flowers? What do we say there?

Don't panic! Your florist is a skilled professional who can
create the perfect floral gift for any occasion that will say
exactly what you want it to, whether it's I love you,
Happy birthday, or Sorry for your loss. In truth, you
don't need to write much more on the card that accompanies the
flowers than your name so the recipient knows who sent the
extremely thoughtful gift. But, there are certainly some
occasions when you'd like to add a few extra words.

When you're searching for the right words, ask your florist for
suggestions. Your florist has assisted numerous customers with
sending flowers for every occasion you can imagine. And, since
many orders are placed over the telephone, your florist has heard
lots of clever and wonderful messages for flower cards.

If you're a little shy about asking your florist for help,
though, here are a few ideas to help you along:

 * Anniversary

For all these years you have been my first thought in the
morning and my last thought at night.

Still looking forward to spending the rest of my life with
you.

 * Apology

Accept these flowers in place of the words I said.

Will these keys let me out of the doghouse? I'm sorry.

 * Birthday

Wishing you a year filled with the same joy you bring to
others!

Enjoy this gift that's as beautiful as the birthday girl
herself.

 * Cheer Up

Sending sunny thoughts to brighten your day.

I hope these ruin a perfectly bad day.

 * Congratulations

Stunning performance!

A standing ovation for you!

 * Get Well

Hoping these flowers brighten not only your room, but your
heart.

Loving thoughts are tucked inside this bundle of flowers.

 * Housewarming

May those who visit your home feel the love residing there.

There's no place like home! Congratulations.

 * Love/Romance

I usually tell you 'I love you' two or three times a day.
Today I'll make it a dozen.

If actions speak louder than words, this is my way of
shouting.

 * New Birth

We share in your celebration of the new life you created!

Babies are special, babies are fun, congratulations on your new
little one!

 * Sympathy

Please accept these flowers and hear the words we are not able
to speak.

May you take

Rejection - Is It Real?

One thing I know about rejection is that it feels real. And even
though it rarely is real, it sure feels that way.

Why is it rarely real?

First let's look at - what is rejection?

It looks or feels like someone decides they don't want to spend
time, money, or share their heart with you.

A person seemingly rejects you in favor of someone or something
else. Or so it seems at first glance.

Why You Might Take Rejection Personally?

What makes rejection seemingly hurt so much is that you perceive
it to be a rejection of you personally. As a person, a human
being.

The definition of rejection that we take personally is to
'discard as defective or useless.'

That zings right into our hearts.

One thing I know for certain -- absolutely no one on this earth
can tell you that you're defective or useless. Well, they can
tell you but you can 'reject' their comment.

The real pain behind rejection is that we think someone is saying
we aren't worthy. We are defective or useless. Guess what,
it's a lie.

IT'S A LIE!

You aren't defective, flawed or useless. Why is it a lie? No
one is defective or useless. If you are breathing you have an
opportunity to be quite useful and if there is something you want
to change about your life, you can do that. No one is
defective.

Why do you think that the other person's behavior, words or
thoughts are about you? They aren't. It's about them.
Always.

It's about what works and doesn't work for them. And if you
don't work, match or fit for someone, I guarantee you that you
will work, match or fit for someone else. And someone else will
work better for you.

And if someone can make you feel defective or useless, then
underneath, you feel that way, otherwise you would reject that
thought.

You aren't defective.  You aren't useless.  You're a Goddess,
be one, carry yourself as one. Act as if you are a Goddess until
you fully believe it and honor it.

Client Examples

I worked with a fabulous woman - we'll call her Teresa. She is
smart, kind, funny and very upbeat.

But every time a man didn't want to be with her, she felt
rejected. And it would put her into a tailspin. She'd feel
like she'd never meet a man that would like her for herself. Of
course, then no man would come near her, because that was the
energy she was putting out into the world – 'you really won't
want to come near me, I'm defective.' Of course, that wasn't
what she meant to do.

The way life works - you get what you think about, whether you
want it or not. So if you're thinking that
